(FamilyConservatrionPAC.com) – According to a report by Life News, between 2020 and 2022, at least 34 live births resulted from failed abortions in at least seven states.

Although it observed that “most states do not keep track of the number of kids who survive abortions,” the pro-life publication examined statistics from Arizona, Florida, Minnesota, Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Michigan.

The report states, “[A]nd the few that do provide little information about whether the babies received care, survived or were abandoned to die.”

The most recent data from the Arizona Department of Health Services reveals that nine babies were born alive after abortions in 2020.

According to state Agency for Health Care Administration statistics, eight babies were to have been born alive in Florida this year, four in 2021, and seven in 2020.

Furthermore, according to statistics from the Texas Department of Health and Minnesota Department of Health, five babies were born alive in Minnesota in 2021, and one baby was delivered live in Texas the same year.

In 2020 or 2021, none were reported in Arkansas, Oklahoma, or Michigan. The 2020 Michigan abortion report did, however, include two unidentified cases, which indicates that the abortion employee did not inform the state whether or not the two kids were born alive, according to the report.

Life News revealed that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) “provide[s] evidence that babies survive abortions.”

This report demonstrates that between 2013 and 2014 in the United States, at least 143 kids were delivered alive following failed abortions.

Only three states reported that 40 kids were delivered alive following failed abortions between 2016 and 2018. As stated in the report:

“According to the state health data, 11 babies were born alive in Minnesota, 10 in Arizona, and 19 in Florida.

Texas reported six babies were born alive in botched abortions in 2019. In Michigan, state health reports from 2008 through 2013 indicate that 11 babies were born alive after abortions.”

The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act would mandate “the same basic medical treatment be provided to newborns who survive abortions as would be offered to any other baby born at the same gestational age.”

This mandate has been a long-time goal of congressional Republicans, according to the study. Democrats, though, have obstructed the bill more than 80 times.

Abortion survivors Priscilla Hurley, Melissa Ohden, and Micaella Clay share their stories of surviving abortions and react with joy and ‘relief’ to the Supreme Court ruling to overturn Roe v. Wade.
