(FamilyConservationPAC.com) – The West Virginia House of Delegates approved campus carry legislation, which will now be signed by Governor Jim Justice (R).
According to WVNews, the West Virginia Senate approved the campus carry bill on January 24, 2023, by a vote of 29 to 4. Concealed carry permit holders can now carry pistols on state college and university campuses.

Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Mississippi, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Wisconsin are the 11 states in the Union that currently permit campus carry.
According to Rainn.org, women ages 18-24 are at elevated risk of sexual violence. Statistics also show that only 20% of college-age victims of sexual violence report the assault to law enforcement.
On September 14, 2017, Breitbart News examined the 11 states that allow campus carry and noted that, despite the hand-wringing and doomsday predictions made by gun control advocates when a state considers campus carry, empirical data shows that law-abiding students who carry weapons on campus are, in fact, law-abiding students.
