Joe Biden Secretly Visits Ukraine to Show U.S. Support – What About Ohio?

( – President Joe Biden took a secret train Monday from Poland into the conflict-torn Ukraine to demonstrate to Kyiv that the United States is entirely and unwaveringly behind it.

The Associated Press (AP) reported that President Biden, and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky recalled the worries voiced over a year before that Russia may invade fast and seize the capital of Ukraine.

Biden declared from behind a podium adorned with the American and Ukrainian flags, “One year later, Kyiv stands. Ukraine is standing. Democracy is up. The entire world stands with you, as do the Americans.”

On his first trip to the nation since Russian troops invaded on February 24, 2022, Biden decides he wants to be heard and seen.

As both sides prepare for spring offensives, he hopes to increase international support for Ukraine as the conflict between the two Eastern European countries worsens.

According to the AP article, Biden promised an additional $500 million in U.S. help in Kyiv, including anti-tank missiles, air surveillance radars, howitzer shells, and other equipment but no new cutting-edge weapons.

More shells are reportedly being consumed by Ukraine each month than the EU defense sector is currently able to generate.

Zelensky responded by claiming that he and Biden had discussed “long-range weapons and the armaments that may still be provided to Ukraine even though it had not been previously supplied.”

He made no more mention of new material commitments for the military.

However, Biden promised Ukraine ongoing assistance, stating that “freedom is valuable. It’s worth putting up with whatever it takes to win.”

And that’s how long, Mr. President, we’ll be with you, according to Biden, “for as long it takes.” In response, Zelensky said in English, “We’ll do it.”

On a different note, the terrible rail accident that obliterated the little local town in East Palestine, Ohio, has not yet been visited by President Biden.

Meanwhile, Biden visits Ukraine and gives them millions of dollars in aid. Ohio and the residents of East Palestine can fend for themselves.
