(FamilyConservationPAC.com) – Pro-Palestinian demonstrators invaded the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday, staging a protest inside the Cannon Rotunda that one observer compared to an “insurrection.”
The demonstrators want a ceasefire to assist the terrorist group Hamas in Gaza.

Part of the Cannon House Office Building is the Cannon Rotunda. Although it is not a part of the Capitol complex, it is distinct from the famous Capitol structure. On Capitol Hill, it is the oldest congressional office building.
Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), who falsely accused Israel of bombing a Gaza hospital Tuesday, addressed the protesters.

Washington, DC’s Fox 5 reported:
“A large group of pro-Palestinian protesters are demonstrating inside the Cannon Rotunda on Capitol Hill.
The Cannon House Office Building holds the House Committee offices.
U.S. Capitol Police say demonstrations are not allowed inside Congressional Buildings and are working to clear the crowd.Police have already detained some individuals as chants of “ceasefire” are echoing around the building.”
Though there had been previous left-wing protests inside the Capitol, none of the demonstrators received the same treatment as those on January 6, 2021, when numerous individuals were arrested and sentenced to heavy terms for non-violent charges.
Since a terror attack by Hamas on October 7 that left 1,400 Israelis dead and approximately 4,400 injured, there have been anti-Israel demonstrations in the United States in large cities and college campuses.
A little over 200 persons, some Americans, are held hostage to Gaza.
Chris Wray, the director of the FBI, referred to the Capitol incident as “domestic terrorism.”
In this instance, the pro-Palestinian demonstration is endorsing terrorism directed against Americans and Israelis; a ceasefire would free Hamas from accountability for its crimes.
