(FamilyConservationPAC.com) – Based on a secret loneliness epidemic, AI girlfriends’ development is harming a generation of young men, claims Liberty Vittert, a professor of data science at Washington University.

Professor Vittert’s op-ed published by The Hill, says that certain applications now offer virtual girlfriends for guys who want an AI lover to communicate to them, let them live out their sexual dreams, and learn, through data, just what they enjoy.

Millions of people are allegedly using these apps, and they let users customize their virtual companions’ personalities and physical characteristics.

Even a few of the fake partners are modeled after actual individuals. For instance, an AI bot that portrayed an online influencer attracted over 1,000 users in less than a week.

She thinks she could make $5 million monthly with her AI girlfriend.

Furthermore, the professor clarifies that interacting with these AI ladies goes beyond simple “cookie-cutter chatbot interactions”:

“The AI learns from your reactions and is capable of giving you exactly what you want to hear or see, every single time. And they have come at just the right time to assuage the silent epidemic of loneliness that is hitting this generation of young men.

More than 60 percent of young men (ages 18-30) are single, compared to only 30 percent of women the same age. One in five men report not having a single close friend, a number that has quadrupled in the last 30 years. The amount of social engagement with friends dropped by 20 hours per month over the pandemic and is still decreasing.

These young men are lonely, and it is having real consequences. They are choosing AI girlfriends over real women, meaning they don’t have relationships with real women, don’t marry them and then don’t have and raise babies with them.”

“All the signs are pointing toward fewer relationships, fewer marriages, and fewer babies,” warns Professor Vittert, adding, “America desperately needs people to have more babies.”

Compared to 15 years earlier, there were 600,000 fewer births in the United States in 2023.

In the past 60 years, the average number of children per woman has dropped by more than half, says Vittery.

This implies that America won’t be able to pay its bills because there won’t be enough people working.

For instance, the United States spent over $1.6 trillion on Medicare and Medicaid in 2021. By 2030, there would be over 80 million beneficiaries, an increase of 50%.

However, only 10 million more Americans are expected to enter labor within that same time.

In his closing remarks, the professor warns: “A generation of lonely men are enabling themselves to stay childless and lonely, which will have devastating effects on the U.S. economy in less than a decade.”
