(FamilyConservationPAC.com) – Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) has passed away at the age of 90.

As the chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, the California senator resigned due to health issues and political pressure.

She had missed work for three months in 2022 alone due to illness, and there had been reports of her declining mental abilities, including her inability to recall the names of her coworkers.

The Senator’s death comes as Congress is barreling toward a shutdown as government funding ends on September 30.

Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) will appoint her successor. He has said he would appoint an interim Senator in the event of Feinstein’s death.
