(FamilyConservationPAC.com) – Joe Biden wants to send $95 million to Maui after the Hawaiian island experienced the deadliest fire in the country’s history in over a century.

However, Ukraine’s departing defense minister claims his country spends about $100 million daily on conflict with Russia.

“A day of war costs us 100 million dollars,” Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov said in an interview with state media.

“The army today is the largest consumer of funds. But funds are also needed for the maintenance of the country as a whole: for infrastructure, for reconstruction, for supporting the socially vulnerable,” he added.

According to a recent Breitbart News story, Biden is sending $95 million to Maui, less than a tenth of one percent of the $135 billion he wants to spend on Ukraine.

The United States is giving Ukraine the majority of the money it needs to continue its conflict with Russia, which got underway in February 2022 after Russian forces invaded.

According to the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), the United States has already pledged $113 billion to Ukraine, or $223 million daily.

US military assistance to Ukraine has been averaging $86 million per day.

Before the year ends, the Biden administration requests an additional $24 billion from Congress, bringing total spending to $135 billion.

At a NATO conference in Vilnius in July, Biden boasted that the United States was spending more than all other countries put together.

“I think we’ve given more than any other nation combined in terms of assistance and cost, and the American people are supportive,” Biden told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

He added, “They are supporting because they understand that it concerns you, that it concerns innocent people all over the world, and that the cruelty with which Putin is acting and the Russians are advancing is reminiscent of behavior from the 14th century.”

Reznikov was recently replaced by Zelensky as part of an initiative to combat corruption and war profiteering.

Kurt Zindulka of Breitbart News reported as follows:

“The Defence Ministry has been rocked by a series of corruption scandals since the start of the year, including allegations of overpaying for military food items such as eggs, and winter jackets. Last month, all the heads of regional recruitment offices throughout Ukraine were sacked over allegations of bribery of officials from men seeking to avoid being sent into battle against the Russians.”

According to a recent Wall Street Journal poll, respondents now disapprove of Biden’s handling of the Ukraine by 52 percent, up from 46 percent on March 22.

The poll didn’t say what they didn’t like about his handling.

38 percent of voters believed that too much was being done to assist Ukraine. 31 percent said it was the “right amount,” while 22 percent thought there wasn’t enough being done.

According to the study, a sizable majority of Republican primary voters—62 percent—believe that too much is being done.

In contrast, only 17% believe that the appropriate amount is being done, and 14% believe that not enough is being done.
