Anarchy In Atlanta: Antifa Rioters Burn Businesses, Torch Police Vehicles

( – According to police chief Darin Schierbaum, several rioters were carrying explosive devices that they utilized to blow up an Atlanta Police Department vehicle.

Along with damaging three businesses, the anti-police protesters also attacked the Atlanta Police Foundation facility with fireworks and rocks.

According to Mayor Andre Dickens, six rioters detained by the police were out-of-state residents. He also confirmed that some of the rioters used explosives.

Scenes from the Atlanta Forest, a radical leftist organization, called for a “Night of Rage” to engage in “reciprocal violence” against police, which sparked the turmoil.

Members of the group protested Manuel Esteban Paez Teran’s death after he shot a Georgia State Patrol trooper on Wednesday near a future police academy.

The 26-year-old attacker was killed when the police opened fire back.

Two and a half years ago, Antifa rioters assisted in inciting violent uprisings in cities around the nation that resulted in up to $2 billion in property destruction.

And once again, the city of Atlanta is being destroyed by violent thugs who want to wage war against law enforcement.

The Republican governor of Georgia, Brian Kemp, denounced the violence on Saturday, declaring that Georgia

“will not tolerate these crimes and will pursue them fully.”

Antifa has long had support from Democrats and the media. President Joe Biden dismissed worries about the extreme left-leaning anarchist movement at a 2020 presidential debate by referring to Antifa as “an idea, not an organization, not militias.”

David Peisner, a guest on CNN, came under fire on Saturday for saying that cops are the only ones responsible for the violence occurring in Atlanta.

Peisner added that the rioters were a “small” group operating independently of the “Defend the Forest” campaign, honoring activist Manuel Esteban Paez Teran, 26, who died in a gunfight on Wednesday after reportedly firing at Georgia state troopers.

“This is a small bunch, as the chief himself acknowledged,” he declared. He added, “There are no leaders inside the ‘Defend the Forest’ movement, so people just sort of go off and do their own thing.”

Numerous fake news media outlets have downplayed Antifa’s actions throughout the years by claiming that their demonstrations were “mainly peaceful.”

For instance, CNN was widely ridiculed after airing an on-air graphic during the riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

During a different news segment, CNN national journalist Omar Jimenez was live-blogging the turmoil that had broken out in Kenosha, Wisconsin, after police had shot Jacob Blake.

The chyron at the bottom of the screen read, “FIERY BUT MOSTLY PEACEFUL PROTESTS AFTER POLICE SHOOTING,” as Jimenez stood in front of a blazing fire.

Should Antifa be designated as a hate group?
