(FamilyConservationPAC.com) – On Friday, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) made public security footage from the January 6, 2021, rioting at the US Capitol.
Johnson tweeted a link to a House website on X, the former Twitter platform, featuring five videos with about 20 films per page.
“Today, I am keeping my promise to the American people and making all the January 6th tapes available to ALL Americans,” Johnson tweeted moments before releasing the CCTV tapes.

It follows after Speaker Emeritus Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) gave Tucker Carlson, the primetime host of Fox News at the time, access to 41,000 hours of material in February, according to Axios.
In March, Tucker Carlson Tonight, Carlson’s old program, featured a never-before-seen video of the notorious “QAnon Shaman,” Jacob Chansley.
Chansley was taken on a tour by Capitol Police officers, according to Carlson’s analysis of the footage.

The video “does not support the claim that there was an insurrection on January 6.” In actuality, it refuted that assertion,” Carlson stated.
Carlson also called a large number of the demonstrators “sightseers” as opposed to “insurrectionists.”
