Rampant Crime in San Francisco Pushes Pelosi’s Staff to Work From Home

(FamilyConservationPAC.com) – OP-ED: The Nancy Pelosi Federal Building staff have been instructed to work from home due to the severe crime rate in San Francisco, which is run by Democrats.

In America, people should be able to receive what they want. Thus it is good to see the San Francisco voters getting what they voted for.

The building, at the intersection of Seventh and Mission Streets, is home to the office of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, as well as the local branches of several federal agencies, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the U.S. Department of Labor, and the U.S. Department of Transportation.

The area around the building has also become a notorious hotspot for open-air drug dealing.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, building workers received a memo from Cheryl Campbell — an assistant secretary with the Department of Health and Human Services — on Aug. 4.

It advised workers to stay home “for the foreseeable future” because of crime in the area.”

“In light of the conditions at the (Federal Building), we recommend employees … maximize the use of telework for the foreseeable future,” the memo said.

This memo was released just one day after “San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins blamed local judges for exacerbating the city’s drug crisis by releasing people accused of offenses before they can go to trial.”

Even better, the document was made public on the same day the Biden administration called federal employees to spend more time at work.

I have said it before, and I will keep saying it forever… San Francisco’s current state is a result of a decision.

Local and state politicians made the decision to destroy this once-proud city by the bay, as well as the stupid citizens who elected them.

We know how to maintain safe and clean cities. We had them for 30 years before the left went insane and adopted the Black Lives Matter terrorists’ ideology.

A city may be cleaned up fairly easily… No camping on the sidewalks or parks—you execute the law and jail lawbreakers.

No squatters. Criminals are detained. Until the trial, bail is required.

The criminal is sentenced to prison if found guilty.

If he commits numerous offenses, he is sentenced to life in prison. There is no magic ingredient. Really, it is that simple.

Democrats in San Francisco went in the opposite direction.

Vagrancy is acceptable. Drug dealing in the open is permitted. Tent cities are allowed in public areas. No arrests are made of criminals. If so, there is no bail required for their release.

Even if found guilty, they avoid prison. Even if they are imprisoned, the time is never long enough. This way of thinking encourages crime and criminals from outside the city to relocate there.

San Francisco is also a sanctuary city, which attracts criminal aliens who traffic lethal drugs like fentanyl.

It is these people’s decision whether or not to live in this squalor. Everyone ought to be granted what they elect.

But remember that this is a decision, and this choice is killing every significant city governed by Democrats in the nation.

Democrats would rather see their cities destroyed than acknowledge an error or depart from the Black Lives Matter movement.

And that is okay with me.
