(FamilyConservationPAC.com) – The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), a group that routinely includes mainstream conservatives alongside hate organizations like the Ku Klux Klan, has listed Moms for Liberty and other parental rights organizations on its “hate map” for being “anti-government extremist groups.”

According to the SPLC’s yearly 2022 Year in Hate and Extremism report, Moms for Liberty, a Florida-based parental rights organization, was added to the hate map along with 11 other organizations, some of which are also in Virginia.

With the addition of these 12 parental rights organizations, the SPLC lists 1,225 organizations as radical hate and anti-government organizations. Of those, 523 were categorized as “hate groups” and 702 as “anti-government extremist groups,” including parental rights organizations.

According to the SPLC research, “schools, especially, have been the target of ramped-up and coordinated hard-right attacks, frequently under the guise of ‘parents’ rights’ groups.”

The study stated, “These groups were partly sparked by the right-wing response to COVID-19 public safety measures in schools. However, they have developed into a hostile movement to student inclusion and target any inclusive curriculum covering race, prejudice, and LGBTQ identities.”

According to the SPLC, Moms for Liberty is at the “forefront of this mobilization.” They are frequently seen at school board meetings nationwide with posters and shirts that read, “We do NOT CO-PARENT with the GOVERNMENT.”

Moms for Liberty was established in 2021 and is, per its website, “dedicated to fighting for the survival of America by uniting, educating, and empowering parents to defend their parental rights at all levels of government.”

The primary reason for the organization’s founding was the school administrations’ response to the coronavirus pandemic, which included compulsory masks, remote learning, and school cancellations.

Moms for Liberty has over 100,000 members and local chapters in 40 states since its start in January 2021.

Tina Descovich, co-founder of Moms for Liberty, urged Breitbart News Daily listeners to start their own local chapters if there wasn’t one already established in a previous interview.

Visit moms for liberty.org and search for your local chapter for the best way to get involved and know what to look for, according to Descovich. If there isn’t a chapter, you can start one by clicking another link.

Since former president Donald Trump and Florida governor Ron DeSantis are scheduled to appear at the organization’s annual summit in Philadelphia at the end of this month, the group has attracted the attention of national Republicans during its brief existence.

One of the groups leading the opposition to the LGBTQQIAAP2S+ agenda being promoted in primary school classes is Moms for Liberty.

“[The movement] is primarily aimed at not wanting to include our hard history, topics of racism, and a very strong push against teaching anything having to do with LGBTQ topics in schools,” Susan Corke, director of the SPLC Intelligence Project, stated.

“We considered this to be a fairly calculated move toward localization,” she added.

Interestingly, a teacher’s manual published last year by the SPLC’s Learning for Justice initiative recommended an explicit sex education book for elementary school pupils.

The manual, titled “Best Practices for Serving LGBTQ Students,” was released by Learning for Justice, a Southern Poverty Law Center project, according to Breitbart News. Pronouns, sex education, and rules governing transgender access to sports and restrooms are all included in the guide.

Since when did organizations working to protect children from groomers and pedophiles become labeled as a hate group?!”
