(FamilyConservationPAC.com) – On Wednesday, President Joe Biden advocated for stricter gun laws in the United States at the 10th Annual National Vigil for All Victims of Gun Violence.
On the very same day, he also consented to a prisoner swap with Russia that would see a convicted arms dealer released.

Early in the week, reports suggested that Biden might exchange American citizen Brittney Griner for Russian gun-running monster Viktor Bout.
And now that Bout is back home safe in Russia, the whole world is in danger once again.
Who Is Viktor Bout?
Bout is a flashy arms salesman in his mid-fifties with experience in the Russian military. In the early 1990s, he raided the arsenals of the crumbling Soviet Union.
He is likened to a character in the movie Lord Of War starring actor Nicolas Cage. Bout, who has fueled some of the world’s worst conflicts, was the inspiration behind the making of the film.

He used vintage Soviet cargo planes to fly his black market weaponry to war zones worldwide, making him a multibillionaire. He has sold weapons to all criminal organizations, including Hezbollah and al-Qaeda, and the Taliban and its adversaries in Afghanistan.
After Bout was found guilty in 2011, then-U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Preet Bharara, stated that Bout was prepared to sell an arsenal of weapons that would make some smaller nations envious.
Bharara stated,
“He intended to supply terrorists with weapons so they could kill Americans. Justice had been served with today’s prompt decision, and a very dangerous guy will now be in jail.”
Only a few hours had passed since Biden spoke at the 10th Annual National Vigil for All Victims of Gun Violence when it was reported that Griner had been traded for the Russian arms dealer.
Biden said while speaking at the gun control vigil, “Our work continues to limit the number of bullets that can be in a cartridge, the types of weapons that can be bought and sold, attempt to ban ‘assault weapons,’ and a whole range of other things that are just common sense.”
President Trump posted on Truth Social about the prisoner swap saying “What a stupid and unpatriotic embarrassment for the USA!”
