(FamilyConservationPAC.com) – According to the most recent Civiqs poll, the net favorability of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) among registered voters has reached an all-time low.
Registered voters were asked whether they had a favorable or unfavorable opinion of DeSantis, who declared his candidacy for president in late May.
According to the most recent research, 57 percent of people have a negative opinion of the presidential candidate. In comparison, only 33 percent think positively of them.
He has the lowest net favorability rating ever in this survey, at -24.
On election day in 2022, 48 percent of voters had an unfavorable opinion of DeSantis, compared to 46 percent with a favorable opinion.
In December, the margin shrunk to one point, but from January through the rest of the year, it only widened further.
DeSantis was viewed negatively by 55 percent of the electorate on May 24, 2023, compared to positively by 36 percent. He had a net favorability rating of -19% at that time.

Particularly among Republicans, 70% have a favorable opinion of DeSantis, compared to 15% who do not and 15% who are still undecided. The majority of independents, 56 percent, also have a negative opinion of the presidential candidate, while only 31% do so favorably.

DeSantis is struggling to catch up to former President Donald Trump in polls conducted at the national and state levels, as evidenced by his declining favorability rate among registered voters in this study.
For instance, the Morning Consult poll from this week showed Trump leading DeSantis by 43 points, with DeSantis dropping to 16 percent, a “weekly tracking low.”
Along with the results, the DeSantis campaign has reportedly laid off 38 employees to streamline operations.

“Following a top-to-bottom review of our organization, we have taken additional, aggressive steps to streamline operations and put Ron DeSantis in the strongest position to win this primary and defeat Joe Biden,” DeSantis campaign manager Generra Peck said in a statement.
“Gov. DeSantis is going to lead the Great American Comeback, and we’re ready to hit the ground running as we head into an important month of the campaign,” she continued.
