Extremist Hebrew Israelite School Attacked in Pro-Palestinian Hate Crime

( – A Black Hebrew Israelite hate group was using the building where the Indiana lady was arrested on Friday night after she crashed her car into it, believing she was attacking a Jewish school on behalf of “her people back in Palestine.”

The Star of David atop the structure generated charges of criminal carelessness against Ruba Almaghtheh, 34.

The Black Hebrew Israelites have also stolen the Jewish emblem.

The last time the group gained notoriety was during an alleged 2019 attack on a Jersey City, New Jersey, kosher store by a guy connected to the group.

According to the Times of Israel, there are specific branches of the organization that openly oppose Jews.

These individuals may be seen shouting their ideology, which includes misogyny, anti-LGBTQ remarks, and Holocaust denial, at anyone who passes by on street corners.

A branch of the movement settled in Israel in the 1960s, while other portions of it are not antisemitic.

The Israelite School of Universal and Practical Knowledge, an “extreme and antisemitic sect” of the movement, is described by the Anti-Defamation League as having utilized the Indianapolis building.

Indianapolis region Fox 59 WXIN reported:

“Almaghtheh told officers she was watching news coverage of the Israel-Hamas war on television and decided to plan an attack on the building because she was offended by the “Hebrew Israelite” symbol on the front of the building.

Police said Almaghtheh passed by the building a couple times and called it the “Israel school.”

IMPD said she made reference to “her people back in Palestine” and told officers, “Yes. I did it on purpose.”

Jewish organizations all over the world have been forced to increase security due to the possibility of antisemitic assaults by individuals inspired by the October 7 terror attack on Israel by Hamas.

Before Israel launched a severe military response, there were threats and attacks.
