(FamilyConservationPAC.com) – Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) tore down two signs alerting people that a second-floor door in the Cannon House Office Building was for emergency use only.
He then activated the fire alarm and fled through a different door on a separate floor.
Bowman tore down two signs and threw them on the ground first, according to multiple sources familiar with the investigation into his pulling the fire alarm in the House.
This action sparked a massive response from law enforcement and emergency services, resulting in the building’s evacuation.
Photographs of the alleged crime scene, taken after Bowman’s damage to the emergency door was repaired, were given to Breitbart News by people close to the inquiry.
There are no longer the two red signs usually attached to the entrance in the image showing Bowman setting off the fire alarm that Capitol Police have already made public.
Bowman tells reporters “I thought the alarm would open the door.”

According to someone who knew the situation, Bowman approached the door, took off the emergency signs, and tossed them to the floor earlier in the day as the House was delaying a vote on the House Democrats’ move to adjourn.
The person with knowledge of the probe told Breitbart News, “He ripped both of them off the door and threw them both on the floor.”
“Then, he leaned into the door and tried to open it,” the source added. “Then, he pulled the fire alarm. When the alarm begins going off, he turned around and ran—going down to the first floor of Cannon and exited out of a different door then made his way across the street to votes.
At no point did he say to anyone ‘sorry this is a mistake’ or ‘sorry I pulled the fire alarm by mistake’ or anything like that.
He didn’t say anything to anyone until he was confronted by Capitol Police later.
By doing what he did he caused a whole building to be evacuated. Capitol Police and emergency services need to treat any alarm like a real threat until they know otherwise.”

These facts undermined Bowman’s official public explanation that he was attempting to exit the building.
According to the person with knowledge of the situation, he did not wait the 30 seconds that the signs instructed for the emergency door to open, and it is evident that he disregarded the advice on the emergency signs.
Subsequently, Bowman told reporters, “I assumed the alarm would go off.”

Following an earlier statement from his spokeswoman alleging he was rushing to get to votes on the floor, the congressman himself made that allegation.

The sign clearly indicates otherwise.
“What appears to be happening, though, is that House Democrats were frantically attempting to use every tactic at their disposal—including the unsuccessful attempt to adjourn the vote, the use of the “magic minute” by House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries to buy as much time as possible for the opposition leader to speak, and the spread of false information about the House GOP’s funding bill by committee staffers—to buy themselves enough time to pass a Democratic funding measure in the Senate.”
The Senate plan, led by Senate Democrats, gives billions of taxpayer cash for Ukraine.
In contrast, the House-passed plan provides zero dollars for the country. This is the primary distinction between the House and Senate funding schemes.
Put another way, Bowman, who has been a member of Congress for almost three years and should be aware of all this about emergency doors and voting rushes, set off the fire alarm as part of a plot to delay and buy time for the Democrats.
The Democrats altered their tune and started praising the GOP financing plan—despite offering no money for Ukraine—when their delay tactics failed and the House passed it.
Once they realized they had lost, they unanimously voted for it and declared victory.
