Thoughts? Tulsi Gabbard ‘Open’ to VP Slot in Trump Presidency

( – In an interview with Fox News on Friday, former Hawaii Representative Tulsi Gabbard hinted that she may be amenable to serving as former President Donald Trump’s vice president.

When host Jesse Watters asked Gabbard if she would consider running for vice president, she replied, “I would be open to that.”

“My mission is to serve our country,” Gabbard continued. “I wanna be in a position to solve problems, Jesse, and we got a lot of ‘em to solve.”

A list of candidates for vice president that former president Trump had previously confirmed included Gabbard, Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.), businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, and Gov. Kristi Noem of South Dakota (R).

The former president did not disclose the announcement date for his running companion. Still, he did validate the individuals on his shortlist. “Those are all good people,” stated Trump. “They’re all reliable,” he added.

According to an invitation provided only with The Hill, Gabbard is scheduled to attend the former president’s Mar-a-Lago club the following week. There, she will be the featured speaker at a fundraiser for the 917 Society on a night “celebrating the Constitution.”

The former Democratic presidential contender for 2020, Gabbard, declared in late 2022 that she was quitting her previous party, claiming it was “under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers who are driven by cowardly wokeness.”

“Instead, it stands for a government that is of, by and for the powerful elite. I am calling on my fellow, common-sense, independent-minded Democrats to join me in leaving the Democratic Party,” Gabbard said in a video statement. “If you can no longer stomach the direction that the so-called woke Democratic Party ideologues are taking our country, then I invite you to join me.”

Here’s what she said about President Trump on January 6th vote:

Do you think Tulsi Gabbard should be a VP choice for President Trump?
