(FamilyConservationPAC.com) – During a committee hearing, Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) said that she has submitted a subpoena requesting the release of flight logs linked to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Epstein was well-known for his relationships with prominent figures involved in sexual abuse and human trafficking.
Blackburn’s focus is on the late Jeffrey Epstein’s private flight records.
“Since we’re in the business of issuing subpoenas now, here are a few more that I filed a subpoena to Jeffrey Epstein’s estate to provide the flight logs for his private plane,” Blackburn announced.
“Given the numerous allegations of human trafficking and sexual abuse surrounding Mr. Epstein, I think it is very important that we identify everybody that was on that plane and how many trips they took on that plane and the destinations to which they arrived,” she added.
Blackburn criticized the committee for seeming disregard for more urgent issues and disapproved of their attempts to undermine Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.
The Senator brought up Justice Sonya Sotomayor’s suspected financial wrongdoing concerning her $4 million worth of book sales.
Senator Blackburn said that, in response to the committee’s subpoena campaign, she had served Justice Sotomayor’s staff with her own subpoena to obtain more information regarding her book deals.
Blackburn declared she had also sent Secretary Xavier Becerra with subpoenas to clarify how the Office of Refugee Resettlement and Health and Human Services lost track of 85,000 refugee children as part of their unrelenting pursuit of accountability.
The Senator also sent subpoenas to the Justice Department of the Biden administration investigating the shutdown of the “China Initiative,” a program that was crucial in locating and apprehending Chinese spies operating in the United States.
She also submitted a subpoena to the Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission to look into Biden’s purported attempts to quiet Elon Musk and a request for records pertaining to political contributions made by the team of Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
