(FamilyConservationPAC.com) – The Clinton Foundation was established by former President Bill Clinton and his wife, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
When their prominence declined and funding dried up, the foundation suspended its annual “Clinton Global Initiative” for a few years.
However, the scandal-plagued charity has since returned with a plan to send humanitarian aid to war-torn Ukraine, complete with a proclamation from Pope Francis.
In 2015, Peter Schweizer’s best-selling book Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich revealed the questionable activities of the Clinton Foundation.
Schweizer discussed the Clintons’ previous talent for grift and their comeback on the most recent episode of The Drill Down podcast.
“The problem is that the Clintons have turned [disaster relief] into disaster capitalism,” Schweizer said.
“What we found is that the Clintons were doing a lot of relief work and then working with major corporations that wanted deals in countries that were having a war.”
In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Colombia, and Haiti, among other nations where the Clinton Foundation carried out numerous disaster relief and rehabilitation operations, Clinton Cash identified instances of this.
In many cases, the businesses awarded government contracts to carry out those tasks were not only close family members of the Clintons but also significant contributors to the Clinton Foundation.
The biggest individual donor to the Clinton Foundation throughout the 2010s was Victor Pinchuk, a wealthy Ukrainian tycoon who made his fortune producing pipes used in the energy sector.
Mr. Pinchuk committed $29 million over five years to the Clinton Global Initiative 2008.
As per the Clinton Foundation, the commitment was made to finance an initiative to educate upcoming Ukrainian professionals and leaders on how to “modernize Ukraine.”
As co-host Eric Eggers and host Schweizer put it, “For the Clintons, it’s an ‘iron triangle.'”
Through their foundation, they can collect money on behalf of the impoverished citizens of the impacted nation—in this case, Ukraine.
Subsequently, the third element consists of the big businesses seeking inside information on romantic dealings in a war-torn nation. The iron triangle is shown here.
Research on the relationship between several Russian and Ukrainian billionaires and Hillary Clinton’s time as Secretary of State under President Barack Obama was conducted by the Government Accountability Institute.
An excellent illustration of that, which is all a part of Hillary’s notorious “Russia Reset” policy, can be seen in GAI’s report on the Russian Skolkovo initiative.
“We had a whole chapter devoted to Haiti, and all you have to do is look at where Haiti is now and remember that both Bill and Hillary Clinton were singularly positioned to be in charge of the rebuild of Haiti after the earthquake,” Schweizer said.
He noted, for example, that one of those contracts in Haiti went to Tony Rodham, Hillary’s brother.
So, although it may appear the Clintons and their foundation want to help, it’s best to keep an eye on the final destination of the funds generated and granted for disaster relief in Ukraine.
If history repeats itself, the Clintons will make more money.
Maybe even more than Joe and Hunter Biden have already made from their shady business dealings in Ukraine.
