CONFIRMED: January 6 Committee LIED!

( – Transcripts of confidential witness testimony before the January 6 Committee, which were just made public, reveal that the then-President Donald Trump had, in fact, asked for troops to guard the Capitol and had not engaged in physical altercations with confidential Service agents.

The committee withheld the transcript of a closed-door interview with then-Rep on January 28, 2022. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and Deputy Chief of Staff Anthony Ornato because it emphasized dramatic assertions that the evidence contradicted.

Cheney specifically supported the claims made by Cassidy Hutchinson, a former Trump adviser, who made it known in public and with much media attention that Trump had attempted to use his official car and drive to the Capitol riot.

When Hutchinson made her stunning statement in June 2022, as Breitbart News and others pointed out, several people, including Ornato, were ready to publicly testify to dispute her allegations (which were also refuted in various ways).

However, Cheney and the other committee members declined Ornato’s offer, adopting the same strategy that member Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) had employed when he left uncomfortable witnesses behind during the initial impeachment investigation.

Furthermore, according to Cheney and the committee’s final report, there was no proof that Trump had asked for 10,000 National Guard soldiers to guard the Capitol. Ornato had really testified that she had heard Trump do just that.

The Federalist’s Mollie Hemingway revealed that the House Administration’s Subcommittee on Oversight, chaired by Representative Barry Loudermilk (R-GA), had discovered the Ornato transcript. According to Hemingway,

“Former Rep. Liz Cheney’s January 6 Committee suppressed evidence that President Donald Trump pushed for 10,000 National Guard troops to protect the nation’s capital, a previously hidden transcript obtained by The Federalist shows.

Cheney and her committee falsely claimed they had “no evidence” to support Trump officials’ claims the White House had communicated its desire for 10,000 National Guard troops. In fact, an early transcribed interview conducted by the committee included precisely that evidence from a key source. The interview, which Cheney attended and personally participated in, was suppressed from public release until now.

Asked if he had ever heard anything about Trump deciding to go to the Capitol that day, Ornato said he hadn’t. Ornato said Trump had driven by a previous rally, had flown over another, and that handlers had previously decided against him joining the day’s events.”

It was discovered previously that a large portion of the evidence gathered by the January 6 Committee had been destroyed. Loudermilk was also unfairly singled out by the committee for bogus charges that he had offered a tour to Capitol rioters before the incident.

It did this despite being instructed by then-incoming Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (D-CA) to save all of the evidence gathered in late 2022.

Strangely, Trump is still prosecuted at the federal level for allegedly mismanaging official records.
