(FamilyConservationPAC.com) – A document from the San Diego Field Office Intelligence Division of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) alerts readers about the possibility of encountering terrorists at the porous southern border, including those affiliated with Hamas, Hezbollah, and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ).
The warning was sent a few weeks after Israel was assaulted by the terrorist organization Hamas, which, on October 7, killed 1,400 people and kidnapped many more.
The memo dated October 20, which cautioned that “individuals inspired by, or reacting to, the current Israel-Hamas conflict may attempt to travel to or from the area of hostilities in the Middle East via circuitous transit across the Southwest border,” was first obtained and made public by The Daily Caller News Foundation.

“Foreign fighters motivated by ideology or mercenary soldiers of fortune may attempt to obfuscate travel to or from the US to or from countries in the Middle East through Mexico,” the memo reads.
The document then listed potential signs and included patches for the three terrorist groups, Hezbollah, PIJ, and Hamas.
Males of military age, military uniforms, insignias, ties to Israel, the terrorizing of Palestinians, or “regional affiliations,” together with an “undetermined return plan,” are among them.

The number of illegal aliens entering the country under President Biden’s direction has already increased; many are on the “Terrorist Watch List.”
According to Breitbart News, within the past year, “149 illegal aliens at the nation’s northern and southern borders who were revealed to be listed on the federal government’s Terrorist Watch List” had been confronted by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
At the southern border, 146 border crossers on the Terrorist Watch List were encountered, making up the vast bulk.
Compared to Fiscal Year 2017, that is a 7,350 percent increase in these interactions.
This phenomenon is further explained in a House Homeland Security Committee report chaired by Rep. Mark Green (R-TN).
The report notes that between Fiscal Year 2017 and 2020, the Border Patrol “apprehended just 14 individuals whose names were on the [Terrorist Watch List], with most of them attempting to enter through the southwest border.”
Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) is requesting that Alejandro Mayorkas, the secretary of President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS), provide the total number of “special interest aliens” admitted into the country.
“A non-U.S. person who, based on an analysis of travel patterns, potentially poses a national security risk to the United States or its interests” is how such illegal aliens are defined.
In addition, Hawley pressed Mayorkas to outline the measures the agency has taken to “increase security measures at the southern border in response to Hamas’ assault on Israel.”
