Biden Expresses Doubts on Harris’s Chances of Beating Trump

(FamilyConservationPAC.com) – Before deciding to resign, President Joe Biden expressed “doubt” about Vice President Kamala Harris’ ability to unseat former President Donald Trump.

Axios was informed on Sunday by three Biden aides who were aware of recent discussions regarding his plans.

Biden’s anxiety highlights the difference between the Democratic Party’s disunity and the Republican Party’s togetherness in the run-up to November.

About half an hour after declaring he would resign, the president gave Harris his personal X account endorsement, which Republicans find strange.

Following his endorsement, it seems the “squad” and other party officials are attempting to unite around Harris. Numerous Democratic state and federal legislators, along with Bill and Hillary Clinton, also supported Harris.

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, House Democratic Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, and Former President Barack Obama are among those who did not immediately support Harris.

”We will be navigating uncharted waters in the days ahead,” Obama said. “But I have extraordinary confidence that the leaders of our party will be able to create a process from which an outstanding nominee emerges.”

Politico Playbook said on Monday that the four leaders, Pelosi, Jeffries, Schumer, and Obama, had chosen not to support Harris because they “do not want to be seen as back-room party bosses engineering a Harris coronation.”

Democrats don’t want to be seen as undermining democracy by pulling Biden from the ticket despite the fact that he received around 14 million Democratic primary votes. In 2016, Harris won no primary delegates.

With a 38.6 percent approval rating, Harris is the front-runner to win the Democratic nomination in four weeks.

Still, according to FiveThirtyEight, he is not extremely popular. Biden has a 38.5 percent approval rating, which is far lower than the 50% needed for an incumbent to win reelection.

President Donald Trump responded to Kamala Harris, who is now becoming the Democratic nominee, saying, “Kamala Harris will be easier to defeat.”

Do you believe Harris can beat Trump?
