(FamilyConservationPAC.com) – Following three hours of deliberation, the jury found Hunter Biden guilty of three felonies on Tuesday morning.
In October 2018, Biden obtained a handgun and declared on the necessary paperwork that he was not a drug addict. He signed the document as well.
Making false claims on a federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) form constitutes the first two offenses. At the same time, the third count pertains to firearm possession.
It’s important to note that federal law prohibits drug abusers from purchasing or possessing firearms.
On October 12, 2018, Biden purchased the firearm; eleven days later, his ex-lover, Hallie Biden, who is the brother’s widow, disposed of it.
Biden could be sentenced to up to 25 years in prison and $750,000 in fines. However, since this is his first offense, the maximum penalty is unlikely to be imposed.
President Biden promised last week that if his son is found guilty, he will not be pardoned.
Since then, President Biden has released a statement that completely ignores the guilty conviction and instead concentrates on Hunter’s battles with and eventual recovery from heroin addiction:
“As I said last week, I am the President, but I am also a Dad. Jill and I love our son, and we are so proud of the man he is today. So many families who have had loved ones battle addiction understand the feeling of pride seeing someone you love come out the other side and be so strong and resilient in recovery.”
In a statement, the Trump team also wished Hunter ongoing healing and described his conviction as a “distraction” from other alleged crimes perpetrated by his family members.
“This trial has been nothing more than a distraction from the real crimes of the Biden Crime Family, which has raked in tens of millions of dollars from China, Russia and Ukraine,” the campaign wrote. “Crooked Joe Biden’s reign over the Biden Family Criminal Empire is all coming to an end on November 5, and never again will a Biden sell government access for personal profit. As for Hunter, we wish him well in his recovery and legal affairs.”
